Kayangan Holdings is a creative group - but a creative group only works when every part of it does.
We design spaces, stage experiences, and build lifestyle brands. Behind that sits the work most people never see: the numbers that stay clean, the systems that hold, the operations that run on time, the people looked after properly.
We're looking for both. The ones who imagine, and the ones who make sure it actually happens.
If you take pride in doing your work well , whichever kind it is ,we'd like to meet you.
SALES & MARKETING MANAGER
Company: Kayangan Holdings Sdn Bhd
Serving: Kayangan Gallery · KL Living
Reports to: Managing Director/ Executive Director
Location: Seksyen 13, Bandar Baru Bangi, 43650 Selangor
Position: Sales & Marketing Manager (Full Time)
Salary: RM7,500 – RM9,500 / month (depending on experience) + performance incentive
THE ROLE
You run the commercial engine for two brands : Kayangan Gallery (events, weddings, corporate styling) and KL Living (interior design and turnkey build). Same clients, same consultative sale, same standard.
Once a quarter, the whole portfolio every brand in the Group comes to you for review and recommendation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own the commercial number for both brands : target, forecast, and revenue closed each month, cascaded down to brand, month and person
• Own demand generation end to end
• Lead and coach the existing team, and hire as the function grows
• Select and implement the CRM, and set the pipeline, lead-response and SOP standards that make selling repeatable
• Be in the room on the highest-value and highest-risk deals : coaching your salesperson through them, not taking them over
• Build the annual commercial plan : segments, pricing, marketing spend and defend it to the MD and ED with numbers
• Report weekly to the MD and ED: the numbers, the reasons, and the recommended action. Quarterly, review the Group's full brand portfolio and recommend where to invest, reposition or wind down
• You are measured on what the team closes, not on what you close yourself.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
• 8+ years in sales or marketing, including 2–3 years leading a team and owning a budget
• A personal record of deals closed not oversight of someone else's
• High-touch consultative selling: events, interiors, or similar high-ticket work
• An opinion on CRM tools
• Bilingual: English and Bahasa Malaysia, spoken and written
• Strong plus: a background in design, events or hospitality
We are an events and interiors group. Working days and hours are as designated by the Company from time to time, and will include weekend and evening work around event schedules.
Send your CV and a one-page track record: revenue against target for the last 2–3 years, team size and structure managed, budget owned, and one commercial decision you made that changed direction.
Applications without evidence of team leadership and budget ownership will not be shortlisted.

Salary : RM2,800 – RM4,500 / month (depending on experience) + sales commission
THE ROLE
Someone is planning the biggest day of their life, or the event their company will be judged on. They send an enquiry. You are who answers it.

Position : Sales Designer ( Full Time & Freelance )
Salary : RM3,200 – RM4,500 / month + sales commission (depending on experience)
THE ROLE
You sell interiors. Clients come in with a space, a budget and a rough idea, and you are the person who turns that into a confirmed project.
This is a sales role with design understanding - not a technical design role. You guide clients toward the right solution, present it well, and close it. The detailed drawings, specifications and execution are handled by the design and project team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Attend to walk-in clients, online enquiries and leads - and follow up until they close or say no
• Understand each client's requirements, lifestyle and budget, and guide them to a decision

• Coordinate between client, design, operations and installation through to handover
• Report weekly on pipeline: leads, follow-ups and conversion status
WHAT YOU DO NOT DO
• You do not produce technical drawings or final designs - the design team does
• You do not set project costing or pricing - that is prepared and verified internally
• You do not commit to any design or price without internal approval
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
• At least 2 years in sales, preferably interiors, renovation or events
• Able to read technical drawings and understand renovation workflow
• Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD or SketchUp - enough to view and discuss, not to draft
• Strong closing instinct and the discipline to follow up consistently
• Bilingual: English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Own transport, and willing to travel for site visits
• Strong plus: an existing client or referral network in interiors or renovationer to this item.

OPERATION SUPERVISOR
Company : Kayangan Holdings Sdn Bhd
Brand : Kayangan Gallery + KL Living - event builds, warehouse and site execution
Location : Seksyen 13, Bandar Baru Bangi, 43650 Selangor
Position : Operation Executive (Full Time )
Salary : RM3,000 – RM4,500 / month (depending on experience) + event setup commission
THE ROLE
The plan arrives on paper. You are the person who turns it into a room.
You lead the crew on site : setup, build, and dismantle - and you run the warehouse that everything comes out of. When the truck is late, the venue changes the loading bay, or a piece does not fit, you are the one who decides what happens next.
This is physical work with unsociable hours. Events finish late and dismantle runs past midnight. If that is not for you, this is not the job.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the crew through setup, build, event standby and dismantle
• Run the warehouse - stock, equipment condition, loading, dispatch and return
• Work from the build pack and technical drawings; make sure what goes up matches what was drawn
• Check the site before setup: access, power, load-in route, timing
• Enforce safety on site and in the workshop - nobody goes home injured
• Brief the crew before every job, and account for every item that leaves and returns
• Manage the day-to-day welfare and scheduling of the operations crew, including foreign workers
• Report condition, damage and shortages after every event - same week, not next month
• Work alongside the Operations Executive, who plans; you execute
WORKING DAYS
This is an events-driven role. The standing roster is Wednesday to Sunday, with Tuesday as rest day and Monday off. In quiet weeks the Company may revert to a Monday–Friday pattern. Any change is published in writing in advance. You will never work more than six consecutive days, and weekend work is compensated by a reassigned rest day - never taken from your annual leave. Overtime is approved in advance and paid.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
• 3 years or more in event setup, exhibition, fit-out, or a similar hands-on build environment, including at least 1 year leading a crew
• Able to read technical drawings and build packs
• Practical: you can pick up a tool and show someone how it is done
• Calm when a build goes wrong at 1am - the crew takes its temperature from you
• Valid driving licence
• Fluent Bahasa Malaysia; working English
• Strong plus: lorry licence (Class E2 or above) · warehouse or inventory experience · experience supervising foreign workers · basic carpentry, electrical or rigging knowledge · safety training

INTERIOR/ EVENT ARCHITECT
Company : Kayangan Holdings Sdn Bhd
Brand : Kayangan Gallery & KL Living
Location : Seksyen 13, Bandar Baru Bangi, 43650 Selangor
Position : Interior / Event Architect (Full Time)
Salary : RM3,200 – RM4,500 / month (depending on experience)
THE ROLE
Two kinds of building, one designer. For Kayangan Gallery you design event spaces that go up in a day and have to be perfect for two - unforgiving timelines, and the setup has to hold on the night. For KL Living you design interiors built to stay: space planning, detailing, materials, and a handover the client lives with for years.
Same drawing discipline, two different clocks. You work from first sketch through to the build pack the crew works from, and you are on site when it goes up.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce 3D visuals and technical drawings in SketchUp and CAD for both brands
• Events: setup layouts, renderings and build packs; on site through setup and dismantle
• Interiors: space planning, detail drawings, joinery and finishes documentation through to handover
• Prepare materials, finishes and specification schedules for each project
• Coordinate with vendors, fabricators and contractors from drawing to build
• Hold design intent on site - what was drawn is what gets built
• Work with Operations on buildability, timeline and cost before a design is committed
• Support authority submission documentation on interior projects where required
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
• A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
• Able to sketch, render and produce technical drawings : all three, not one of the three
• Working proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD
• Comfortable switching between fast temporary builds and detailed permanent work
• Genuine interest in events, styling and build-ups as well as interiors
• A fast learner who executes: event timelines do not move
• Bilingual: English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Strong plus: exhibition, stage, retail display or event set experience · turnkey fit-out experience · experience being on site during a build

• Currently enrolled in a Malaysian diploma or degree programme, with an internship requirement to fulfil
• Relevant field : interior design, architecture, event management, marketing, mass communication, or business
• For design placements: a portfolio, even a student one. We want to see how you think, not how polished it is
• Software relevant to your field : AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Adobe, Canva
• Willing to work weekends and evenings when there is an event. This is not occasional; it is the business.
• Own transport is an advantage : sites are across the Klang Valley

• A named supervisor, weekly feedback, and a written assessment
• Monthly allowance, with meals and transport covered on event days
• Exposure to the full cycle - client brief, design, procurement, build, event, teardown
